A collection of laws on ecclesiastical and kindred affairs in the Spanish Indies, apparently corresponding to Book I of a 19th-century version of the RecopilacioĢn de leyes de los reinos de las Indias; marginal citations written in the same hand as the text and referring to laws dated as late as 1808.

Ezekial Thatcher was clerk of the Parkville School District, Shasta County, Calif. He emigrated to California from Pennsylvania in 1850 and helped establish the first school district in the Parkville area. He is descended from the Thatchers of Uffington, England, the same family as Denis Thatcher, husband of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. From the description of H.H.
